I have yet another online hangout, a new baby even. I’ve setup a photo blog/gallery!

I’ve been trying to keep it under wraps until I’ve uploaded what I wanted to upload, but I couldn’t keep it to myself anymore. So here it is, without further ado, my photoblog/gallery/showroom: Digital Memories!

Day 47 - DigitalMemories

I used a very simple template for that photoblog which gives me a lot more to improve it as I go. You may want to click on the Archive link at the navigation bar up top so you can select categories (the closest I could substitute for an album like view). My Project 365 photos aren’t actually there yet, because I haven’t quite decided whether to upload them just as the photos, without any embellishments, or do I upload them the way I show them on the blog.

Please don’t be surprised that the photos and layouts are so hugely displayed, haha. I guess in a way it’s to make sure I use as less words as possible there 🙂

Anyway, I do hope you get to visit and share with my digital memories 🙂

Maddie’s Garden

Today I received a link to a freebie created by a digiscrapper who is trying her hand at designing. I liked it so I downloaded. Then I decided to browse through her blog where I saw another freebie kit that I really liked. See for yourself (clicking on the image will take you to the download links):

I also purchased a grab bag with a cause, from some of the original Sunshine ladies (my favorites) who are selling their goods at Scrapbook Graphics. It’s a collab grab bag that they put together to benefit another designer who is recovering from an accident. I’ve been dreaming quite frequently lately, but I don’t remember the details when I wake up. I know that in one of them, there were numbers probably because everyone in the country has been thinking about what numbers to pick for the lotto – there’s already 4.2 million dollars at stake because no one has won in the last several draws (not sure if it’s three or four already). They say dreaming of numbers is lucky and that you should use the numbers to bet on the lotto, but alas, I don’t remember them…

We’re tuned in to CNN and they’re showing a story on the tragic plane crash recently at Buffalo, New York.  It’s really sad news and though I know that even when they find the answers to the growing number of questions regarding the accident, the families of those who lost their loved ones would not feel any better, I still hope that they find some answers so these tragedies may be avoided in the future.

Personally, I always feel anxious when riding on a plane, but I find that it is stronger when it’s at night, when they turn off all the cabin lights and all you see are the emergency lights that lead to the exits. I don’t know, I just can’t help but follow the lights and calculate how near or far I am from the exits. On the other hand, once I get over the fear, I actually just think the emergency lights lining the aisle look quite cute. Don’t you think so?
