Forever 21!

We went to Megamall on Saturday morning, and what’s a trip to Mega without a visit to Forever 21?

Here’s a piece I got from that visit:

I wore it to work for the first time last night – one of the rare times I’ve let my Kikay self shine through. Okay, so wearing a pair of earrings isn’t exactly kikay for most people, but like I mentioned in the linked post, it’s the only accessory I really like wearing.

The boyfriend isn’t too keen on dangling earrings and insists that round ones would look better on me. I’m like, what?! Round ones make your face look rounder, I don’t need that. I think these kinds help give an illusion that elongates my already round face. What do you think?

I actually bought two more pairs of earrings on Saturday, plus a leather skirt (on sale) and a smaller bag. I love them all but haven’t used them yet. Talk about splurging!

Heard that the 3-day sale for the Megamall is going to be this weekend. Just like I skipped the one at SM Cubao (it’s right across the office, hello?!), I’m skipping this one too. These days, I do not have the patience or the energy for the deluge of people who troop by the busload to these sales. I wish I did though, I’m one who appreciates a good bargain.

Okay, the real reason I’m skipping out is – I don’t want to go broke!

The week started on a high note. I hope that’s sustained. Work hasn’t always been the happiest place to be in, but it’s easier when things go as planned. I just wish I had enough time to work on my own system to address everything I need to pay attention to at work. You know, a system for fire prevention. As it is, we’re all just fighting fire all the time. Hmm..
