Bag Lust
I’ve had this book marked for a week or so, and today I just had to check it again and finally come out and admit it – I have bag lust! Doesn’t help that the seller was featured on a local show on cable – Shop Talk.

I don’t really travel that much but I love big bags and this is even more appealing because there’s that outside pocket perfect for a camera. And it’s unisex too! If I heard the business owner/designer correctly, this is made from wool and leather. Locally made. And the inside looks delish too!
It’s available in three color combinations.
Now this second bag is more affordable and a lot more colorful:

The bag is called Venus and it’s a bucket bag made of canvas and synthetic leather. This one’s by another small local business, Sinude. I just discovered her today via the same show and I already love her. I am eyeing this all-leather (locally sourced) beauty too:

If you’re out looking for gifts for a teenage girl or a grown woman, checkout the bags from these two local sellers. As for me, well, I went through March without any major shopping extravaganza so maybe I can give myself a gift of a new bag this April. Hmm…

I am addicted to bags today and in fact, I bought one last night and my husband bought it to me…Makes me think to get one of those too…

even when i was still working in the corporate world, i was not really into bags – moreso now that i’m a stay at home wife and mother. ( yap, i’m the kind who’ll wear her bag to death before replacing it. LOL! )

uh-oh, looks like the last line doesn’t sound like what i intended it to be. what i meant was the bag will be old and worn out before i replace it.
