Now you see it…. Now you don’t!

See anything different?

Haha! Now you see it, now you don’t!

What a difference a day makes huh? I was surprised when Alfred mentioned fixing up my desk this morning while I was still at work. Apparently, he cleared it out so he’d have space for his laptop which he needed to hookup to the EHD. Since he had started to move stuff already, he figured he’d go ahead and finish all the rest. When I got home, I supervised the cleaning. Hehe. ๐Ÿ™‚

I got an idea for a layout, and I hope I can get that done!

Anyway… I forgot to mention that on the before picture, it’s the Youtube girls Rin on the Rox on my screen. You’ve got to check out their YouTube channel: hiphoprox. They’re great, and I like most of their renditions, but so far my favorite’s gotta be this one:

Check them out!

I believe (R.Kelly)

Watching ASAP ’09 on Sunday, this song really caught my attention: ย R. Kelly’s I believe. If I’m not mistaken, it seems to be a tribute to Obama who is being sworn in to office today. Now DanceCool is a segment in ASAP, a local Sunday noontime musical show, where they teach dance moves. ย They featured a lyrical dance this week. I found the music very inspiring, and the moves were a wonderful interpretation of the message contained in this song.

Good thing YouTube is very reliable for finding videos like this. This isn’t the best quality I know, but it loads nicely, no long wait for the buffering ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy inauguration day to US President Obama! He’s got a huge challenge ahead of him and I am sure there are those out there just waiting for his first big slip up. I hope he disappoints them.

Blog Action Day

As I logged on the Net tonight, I thought I was going to blog about how I spend HOURS on Zuma (the game) today. I am stuck at Stage 12 and it’s just so dang hard to move on from there.

But as I went into WordPress, I saw a strange name on my Comments list. Mainframeguy found his way through here (I’m not sure how) and so I followed him to his blog.

I am glad I clicked on that link because I wouldn’t have known about Blog Action Day until it was too late if I didn’t. I remember seeing blogs participate last year and I was upset that I didn’t get to. This video will tell you all about it:

Blog Action Day 2008 Poverty from Blog Action Day on Vimeo.

As for Mainframeguy, he pledges to make a 50 pence donation to his chosen charity for every comment made to this post. I have already left one comment, I am hoping that you would go there and leave yours too.ย

I’m thinking about what to post on the 15th, and what else I can do for Blog Action Day. If you’re participating, let me know okay? ๐Ÿ™‚

One for the Font Addicts!

I was bloghopping and freebie hunting and came across this video from Beth Nixon:

I still haven’t found a way to organize the many fonts I’ve amassed. Haven’t even re-installed any of them since my PC was fixed. This video sure reminded me that I needed to work on that too.
