Passion
Thanks to BC Bloggers’ Comment Exchange, I came across this post about Blogging: Finding a Niche. She shared this video, which I happen to like too (thanks again!)
Some snippets from the vid:
Pursuing one’s passion. Having so many interests, so many ideas, is a very good place to be. A lot of people are changing their life paths.
What is it that makes my heart sing? What is it that creates value in my life, in other people’s lives?
Step aside and allow ourselves to take action and try things out. Without putting the pressure on being perfect or selecting the right thing.
what we’re doing right now is not the ‘be all, end all.’ It grows, builds, and expands, or it might lead you to something else.
The most important: taking action. Doing. Starting now.
Over time it will reveal itself whether you want to keep on doing it or change.
Fantastic!
She echoes what Rubin also says in The Happiness Project. And she reminds me of why my word for the year is Start.
Last week, we took one big step to see whether we can get something more out of a passion that both the boyfriend and I share: for photography. We still don’t know if we will pursue this. Time will tell.
There are other things I’d like to start and I guess this year won’t be enough to do them all. I’ll just focus on getting through my list – or listing them all for starters.

My passion is writing. I wasn’t always a writer. Now as I reflect back I can see that I did have other passions as I grew up. All of those passions were connected with the arts. I loved dancing, ballet dancing, character dancing, tap dancing, any form of dancing. I loved the music and the movement; I loved the physical challenge that dancing brought into my life. Another passion was art, I loved creating; I wasn’t always the best but I loved it nonetheless. So, how do you recognize your passion? Look back at what I have written the word “loved” appears five times as I explained to you what my passions were. So, step number one it is something that you love…simple…obvious…

I agree with Gracie. Find out what you’re really interested in and go from there. Start taking action now, if you love photography, whether as a pro or hobby, go for it! I wish I’m creative enough for arts or have a musical talent, but I’m a geek! lol

It is really nice to pursue your passion. Doing what you love is really good because you really want to do it. Don’t be afraid to pursue what you want because you could not find the answer of your so many questions in your mind if you don’t want to try it. Keep on doing what you want and accept change.
