Happy Birthday Grandma!
This weekend was all about celebrations. On Saturday we celebrated the christening of my newest goddaughter Iverre.
Sunday, the 24th, was my Mom’s day. It was her birthday and we celebrated over lunch at Cyma in Trinoma.

It was a filling lunch and we walked it off right after. Alfred, Kuya and Diane, all had somewhere else they needed to be that afternoon but Mom, Dad, and I, stayed at the mall with the little boy for a while. We had to either take turns carrying Amir around, or chasing after him. He wouldn’t walk because he wanted to run around!

He was all tired out by the time we got in the car and headed home. He slept without asking for milk, nor any of his favorite pillows!

We went to Church as usual, then headed to Smart at SM Marilao to apply for the Home Broadband. After months of contemplating we finally arrive to a decision, that is, to have own own internet connection at home. Yey!

I hope that Amir will also be able to be with his grandma for a long time. I was lucky enough to live with my grandma until I was able to graduate from college, yet I am still saddened by the fact that I was not able to give her a great-grandchild.

I understand exactly what you mean. I feel the same way. I was very close to my grandparents and feel bad that they my future kids are not around yet to have met them.

I applied for Smart wireless before but when they came over to install it (it wasn’t a plug it kit back then) the signal wasn’t strong enough in the house because we didn’t have line of sight from their tower. Yay for broadband at home! 🙂

Yeah I hope so. For me, I never experience to have a grandma in my whole life so Amir should treasure that until he will grow up.

The books, or the series? I haven’t finished season 1 yet, and I don’t have the books. So I would say finishing either of the 2 would be quite eventful too 😉
